Brightly is surrounded by beautiful gardens and fields. For early risers a walk on the farm is a wonderful way to start the day. You can stop and sit by one of the two ponds. You might catch sight of a great blue heron, deer grazing by the water's edge, or our resident flock of wild turkeys. While you are out walking, our flock of laying hens will be hard at work providing fresh eggs for you breakfast.

The exercise room

Across the yard from your room you have access to our exercise room and sauna. The exercise room is equipped with an elliptical cross-trainer, a Precor stretch machine and a two-stack, multi-station gym. Watch TV or listen to music while you work out. Follow your workout or a busy day of sight-seeing with a relaxing sauna. Custom built in the old farm grainery, our dry-heat sauna has room to stretch out and an adjoining shower.

Horses

With prior arrangement, accommodation can be made for you and your horse.  There are riding trails in a nearby State  Forest and fox hunters might enjoy a day out with the Deep Run Hunt.  Although we do not offer horseback riding on our farm, there is an active riding community in the area and you might enjoy going to watch a local show.
